Keys, Mayer to headline at Summerfest ||

Summerfest has announced two more of its Marcus Amphitheater headliners, and they’re both Grammy darlings.

Alicia Keys is booked for 7:30 p.m. July 1, and John Mayer for 7:30 p.m. July 2.

Keys’ 2001 debut, “Songs in A Minor,’’ won five Grammys, including Best New Artist. The follow-up, “The Diary of Alicia Keys,’’ earned her four more trophies. She’s currently touring behind last year’s “As I Am.’’

Tickets are $80, $70, $55 and $35 and go on sale at noon April 12 through Ticketmaster at (920) 494-1414 and www.ticketmaster.com.

Laryngitis forces star to reschedule UK tour dates
Fans in Glasgow and Manchester will have to wait to hear the soulful vocals of Alicia Keys.

According to Alicia Key's publicist Patti Webster, the Grammy winner has had to postpone two concerts on her European tour as she is suffering from laryngitis and has doctors' orders to stay off the stage.

Keys, who is in the UK to promote her new album 'As I Am', was due to perform in Glasgow today and in Manchester tomorrow.

Fans can relax, the dates are set to be rescheduled.

Grammy Award-winning musician Alicia Keys owns a crib in Muttontown -- a 15-room center hall Colonial behind a gate on 2.2 acres. Keys bought the property in 2005 for $3.995 million under the name "Safe Haven LC."

The 1981 house has six bedrooms, six baths and 2 half-baths. There is a 50-foot pool with a Jacuzzi and a pool house.

Her taxes are $35,898.

Theola Borden, a spokeswoman for Keys, declined to comment when asked about the house but said the singer does have a recording studio on Long Island. Keys calls the studio "The Oven," which is located inside an old house. This is where she finished her latest album ''As I Am."

Keys won a Best Female R&B Vocal Performance Grammy earlier this month for "No One." She was recently honored at the BET Honors, which premieres tonight on the network.

Alicia Keys will embark on a two-month North American tour April 19 in Hampton, Va., with support from 2007 "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks. The run comes in support of Keys' latest J album, "As I Am," which has spawned two big hits.

First single "No One" logged time at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Like You'll Never See Me Again" was a long-running chart-topper on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

As for Sparks, debut single "Tattoo" peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and is No. 16 there this week. Second single "No Air" featuring Chris Brown jumps 25-19 this week on the Pop 100; a Chris Robinson-directed video for the track will arrive in late February.
